About the Event

This spring, we’ll celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Workout in the Park, the iconic active lifestyle event. Join us for a hands-on, all-in-one roster of workouts, workshops, giveaways and more – all designed to bring SELF’s total well-being philosophy to life.

And, for the first time, SELF brings its event to one college campus, American University, winner of the new Workout on the Quad challenge—this year’s official kick off to the three-market tour.

In true SELF spirit, Workout in the Park benefits important women’s health and social charities. This year we’re thrilled to announce our participating charities Cancer and Careers—an organization that provides vital support to working women and men with cancer and The Robin Hood Relief Fund—a foundation that provides meaningful assistance to organizations in the tri-state area, serving individuals whose lives have been affected by Hurricane Sandy. So you can feel good and do good at the same time!

There’s something for everybody – and every body – at the annual event. Go full on, or just have fun– with so much to choose from, you can customize your experience to suit your needs.

  • Water will not be provided. Please bring your own bottle(s).
  • Bags larger than a backpack will not be permitted. SELF will not be responsible for lost or stolen items/bags.
  • Pets are not permitted inside SELF Workout in the Park with the exception of service dogs for participants with disabilities.
  • SELF Workout in the Park is a smoke-free environment.
